Harbor Country Bike & Hobby is a retail Schwinn bicycle dealer located at 211 South Whittaker Street, New Buffalo, Michigan. New Buffalo is a growing harbor town located in the southwestern portion of Michigan, aka Harbor Country, near the Indiana border. We are about an hour and ten minutes from Chicago, and have become a mecca for bicycle riders from 3 surrounding states. The nearby town of Three Oaks also offers an eclectic mix of art galleries, fine dining, live theater, movie theater, unique clothing and antique stores. The perfect way to get around Harbor Country is on one of our bicycles!
Harbor Country's biggest bicycle event is the Apple Cider Century, which is held the last weekend in September and draws thousands of riders each year. The Apple Cider Century is put on by the great folks at the Three Oaks Spokes bicycle club.
At Harbor Country Bike we pride ourselves on carrying unique items and getting them to you fast. We treat our online customers just like we treat our local customers, we try to get you the right answers fast. We also have a full service department for your parts and service needs, we do offer local pickup and dropoff for service and sales.
All of the bikes over $500 we ship are first removed from their factory cartons, checked for warranty issues, damage, etc, then plastic wrapped and reboxed for the ultimate protection in shipping.
